NO TOBACCO AND ANTI-DRUG POLICY

(Policy Statement for Code of Conduct)

1. Purpose (उद्देश्य)

In compliance with the directives of the Ministry of Education, Government of India, and the Cigarettes and Other Tobacco Products Act (COTPA), [School Name] is committed to providing a safe, healthy, and drug-free environment for all students, staff, and visitors.

2. Policy Statement (नीति कथन)

• Strict Prohibition: The use, possession, distribution, sale, or promotion of tobacco products (cigarettes, bidis, gutkha, pan masala, e-cigarettes), alcohol, and any illicit drugs or addictive substances is strictly prohibited within the school premises and within a radius of 100 yards from the boundary.
• Scope: This policy applies to all students, teaching and non-teaching staff, parents, vendors, contractors, and visitors at all times.

3. Enforcement & Code of Conduct (लागू करने के नियम)

• Any student found in possession of or consuming tobacco or drugs will face disciplinary action as outlined in the School Code of Conduct, including mandatory counseling and parental involvement.
• Staff members violating this policy will be subject to administrative/disciplinary proceedings under applicable service rules.
• The school premises are officially declared a "Tobacco Free & Substance-Free Zone".
